I don’t think adults understand that I’m alive.

Whenever I post something about being super ridiculously busy or complain about something, I always hear “That’s life!” in some form, as if I haven’t spent the last two years of my life being a full-time student and working a part-time/full-time job.

I understand that I’m still a kid, and that “life” is still just barely starting… But at what point am I old enough and/or experienced enough for the “That’s life” line to end it’s course.  ‘Cause, to be honest, when I’m in a shitty mood, that’s the last thing I want to hear.  It’s an insult to all the work I’ve been doing in the last 2 years.
