Sometimes I read these feminist writings and it hurts my heart, because they are trying do desperately to enlighten people and most of the time it just doesn’t work.

When it does, that is a beautiful thing. Because that’s one more voice that will try to enlighten the people they know. And even if they can’t, when they grow up and have kids and teach their kids that is it fantastic to be whoever you want to be as long as you give everyone else the same right.

Just think of that- if we can change the minds of a few of out friends, that is so many more kids who are going to grow up loving and accepting and teach their kids to be the same way.
